A water meter is a scientific instrument for accurate measurement of the quantity of water distributed to the consumer and efficient management of urban water supply. It provides real-time data on the volume of water consumed by a consumer (residential or bulk), encouraging the consumer to use water more efficiently. The BLE-Based Water Meter Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) is a state-of-the-art solution designed for accurate and efficient monitoring of water consumption. This water meter utilizes a magnetic type of water meter with a read switch detection technique to measure water usage. It leverages Bluetooth Low-Energy (BLE) communication to transmit periodic data to a Data Logger which communicates with the central monitoring system. The heart of this system is the STM32G0 metering IC, which interfaces seamlessly with the BLE module through UART communication.
